Dr. Ruwayda Mustafahh is the founder and CEO of Saaba Consultancy, a company that specialises in commercial intelligence, digital solutions, strategic communications, and government advisory.
A British-Kurdish scholar and advocate, Dr. Mustafahh is deeply committed to promoting and protecting Kurdish rights, culture, and identity. Her work blends academic research with real-world impact, positioning her as a regional voice for cultural integrity, inclusive governance, and women's leadership.
In 2019, she founded the Hope Autism Society, launched at the UK Parliament, as a volunteer-driven initiative dedicated to raising awareness and understanding of autism spectrum disorder and advancing inclusive education across communities.
Dr. Mustafahh actively supports female political participation, mentoring aspiring leaders through initiatives such as the 50:50 Parliament Project. As a columnist and commentator, she writes in both English and Kurdish, examining the sociopolitical evolution of the Kurdistan Region and the wider Middle East. Her analysis often explores the intersections of identity, communication, and political change.
Beyond her professional work, she is a children's author, writing in English to introduce Kurdish stories and values to a global audience, helping young readers build pride in their cultural roots.
Dr. Mustafahh earned her Ph.D. in Political Studies from Kingston University London in 2022, with research focusing on Kurdish autonomy and the politics of self-determination. She also holds a Master's degree in International Political Communication, and undergraduate studies in Law from the same institution.
